Induction - President Willem Scott

06/23/2014
On the 23rd June one of the founder members of our Club, Willem Scott, was inducted as incoming President of the Breede River Winelands Rotary Club for the 2014/2015 Rotary Year.
Willem, a well known resident from Robertson, is frequently recognised for his dedication and involvement in his community, particularly the active role he has played in the Robertson Museum and the local Music Society to date .

At the same event, held at the Kingsriver Estate just outside McGregor, Rotarians David & Sue Hall were each presented with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow recognition for outstanding commitment and service to their community and Rotary Club. The educational needs of our youth has always played an important role in the Halls' focus and endeavours to provide meaningful service to the community. Projects introduced by them such as Wordworks and REAP have already produced some remarkable results in our community.
